The Essence of PLUR: Peace, Love, Unity, Respect

The term has been a, if not THE, pillar of Rave culture since the early 90’s’ after being coined by the legendary DJ, Frankie Bones. While many things have changed in the Rave scene since, PLUR is still embraced by Ravers today.

We believe that our strength lies in our shared values and unwavering commitment to PLUR within our group. Our common bond is rooted in the four fundamental principles of the Electronic Music (Rave) scene:

Peace

We embrace the idea of living in harmony with one another. We strive to foster an atmosphere where conflicts are resolved through understanding and dialogue, promoting a peaceful coexistence among individuals from diverse backgrounds.

Love

Love is at the core of our community. It is through compassion and kindness that we build supportive relationships. We celebrate love in all its forms, recognizing that it brings us together and inspires us to uplift one another.

Unity

In our community, we stand together regardless of our differences. Unity means collaboration, teamwork, and solidarity. We work together towards common goals, recognizing that collective efforts create a greater impact. Together, we can overcome challenges and celebrate our achievements.

Respect

Respect is fundamental to all interactions. We honor each person’s individuality and value the diverse perspectives they bring. By practicing respect, we create a safe environment where everyone feels valued and heard, encouraging open communication and understanding.
